BULAWAYO sensational hip-hop, RnB and Afro-fusion artiste Dylan Nyambe affectionately known as “Dweezy Bwoy Wonder” recently released his extended play (EP) titled Best on Best and he is on a nationwide tour to promote his project.

Dylan said his extended play was officially dropped on 15 June live from Khulumani-Fm and it was later launched at Club 09. He also said his extended play has eight songs.

Dweezy kick-started his career in 2010 when he was at Detema High School, and he has worked with different artistes in Bulawayo.

As a way of pushing his extended play Nyambe has embarked on a national tour and his target is to reach 10 provinces.

“My plan is to spread my music to every corner of Zimbabwe, that is why I am on a national tour so that every radio station plays my songs, for now I have gone to Harare, Gweru, Zvishavane, Victoria Falls and Hwange and my target is to reach 10 provinces”, he said.

In an interview with Sunday Life he said in this EP he worked with Asaph and he recorded his songs at Excellence Music studio.

“In this ep I worked with Kbrizzy, Blaq Diva Queen, Lorbee J, Msizkay, Rockie Doub, J Garnet, Frix, Lyrico, Salim, Simphiwe, Koko, Fraelee and I was blessed to feature the award winning hip-hop artiste Asaph. I thought it was best to involve one of the big guns in the industry so that I can learn one or two things and all my tracks were recorded by Excellence Music Studios,” said Dylan.

The 24-year-old revealed that he has faced some challenges but has remained firm and determined.

“In the music industry it is always hard when you do not have a sponsor as I have to fork out money from my pocket and from my parents, not forgetting my friends I work with who keep on pushing me and the other challenge is that local radio stations do not pay that much.

“My fans must expect music videos for this extended play in November and some singles will be dropped in December and I am bubbling with confidence as I have managed to reach 1 000 downloads and I have rubbed shoulders with the likes of Winky D, Stunner, Mzo7, Calvin and Madlela,” he said.

Internationally he has recorded a track with Kombi Jones of Ghana, Trench Kempton of Zambia and I am working round the clock to secure a feature with MA-E, a South African artiste.
