DEFENDING Castle Lager Premier Soccer League champions Chicken Inn and fellow Bulawayo side How Mine remain unbeaten after the two teams played out a goalless draw in a lively contest staged at Luveve Stadium yesterday.Chicken Inn who failed to collect maximum points for the first time this season now have seven points with two wins as well as a draw while How Mine have won once and drawn twice.

The first half was filled with action as Chicken Inn went into attack with three minutes played, Edmore Chirambadare with a glaring miss after being put through by Tafadzwa Kutinyu. Timothy January tested Chicken Inn goalkeeper Elvis Chipezeze who held cleanly a goal attempt in the fifth minute. In the 21st minute, Michelle Katsvairo rattled the cross bar.

Moses Jackson nearly put Chicken Inn in the lead seven minutes before the conclusion of the first half only for his effort to go wide from close range.
In a seesaw second half, Tsepo Ranthokoane for How Mine managed to shoot at goal from a tight angle five minutes after the break, while at the other end Katsvairo shot over the bar in the 61st minute and barely two minutes after, Chipezeze produced a good save to deny an impressive Praise Tonha.
How Mine saw their attack affected by the injury inspired substitution of striker Charles Sibanda who had shown some brilliant touches especially in the first half prior to being replaced by Adolf Muganyi in the 68th minute.

Chicken Inn came close to scoring in the last minute of the game but Kutinyu’s header hit the upright from a George Majika taken corner kick.
Chipezeze came up with a superb save three minutes into the referee’s optional time, doing well to keep out a strike by Pasca Manhanga.

Substitute Thembani Masuku almost turned the ball into his own net when he attempted to clear out a Chirambadare delivery into the box but Munyaradzi Diya managed to tip the ball over the bar.
