HIP-HOP artistes, Cal_Vin and Emtee are set to illuminate the stage at this year’s much-hyped Shoko Festival, which runs from 29 September to 1 October in Harare.

Award winning rapper, Cal_Vin said he was looking forward the festival.

“Emtee is one of the leading hip hop stars in Africa, and sharing the stage with him would be a fantastic achievement in my career. I’m very much confident, and I promise to give my best to Shoko festival organisers,” he said.

The Z’khupan hit maker added that performing alongside Emtee would not give him a stage fright since he has previously performed with the richest rapper in Africa, Cassper Nyovest.

“Many people think I’m scared to perform with Emtee, but I’m very focused and determined to prove that I could be listed as a top African rapper in the near future,’ he added.

Cal_Vin urged people from across the country to support the festival that celebrates urban culture.

“The festival is not for Harare people only. Everyone is free to come and witness myself and other superstars dazzle the stage,” he said.
