NEVER be a Lord of the rings, just take it off!
There are some women who are being haunted by engagement rings which they have worn for a number of years and at the same time having earned themselves the title of being referred to as “Lord of the rings”.
So small is the engagement ring, but it has the power to destroy a woman by taking away her peace and joy. Of course, there are some who take advantage that their engagement rings can easily be mistaken for a wedding ring as they are not too small. When their partners fail to complete the process of taking them to the altar, they just “upgrade” the same ring and start referring to it as a wedding ring. One will just be fooling herself because deep down she knows it is not and sometimes truth knocks in her head and she suffers heartache as well.
There are men who rush to propose to their partners and mark their territory with engagement rings, but take forever before taking them to the altar if lucky, with some never even bothering to complete what they started.
Men should know that they must have focus, get their priorities right and have future plans of growth before pinning down any woman with the engagement ring. It is not something which someone should get over-excited about and just because today he got some cents and rushes to buy an engagement ring. It is just off-side as the trauma he will cause to the woman will be too much. On the other hand, if you are a woman do not just accept the engagement ring if the person’s plans are not clear as you will be accepting trouble for yourself.
One can suffer a heartbreak if the engagement stays for too long on the finger of the supposed bride-to-be as she awaits her groom to take the next step. On a serious note, the engagement ring must not be worn for over two years as that torments the woman’s spirit.
There is nothing as boring as being asked now and again when the ring on your finger will be completed. It is unfortunate that the person wearing it does not buy it herself, but the person who put it on the finger should. The wait can get longer than expected and when you ask your partner, he can give you unending excuses, leaving you just heartbroken.
Never allow that small piece of jewellery to take away your happiness, if there is no hope in sight, just take it off and make it clear that you are not a Lord of the rings!
When you take off the engagement ring, it does not mean the end of things between you two, but for God’s sake it’s a signal so take off the burden. Yes, when the wedding doesn’t come to pass, the engagement ring turns out to be some sort of a burden as you constantly get reminded that you got unfinished business. At times even when you are having a great time, someone can just spoil your day by starting to quiz you on your wedding.
An engagement should be a romantic and exciting time for you and your fiancé to share, but the minute you realise it is turning to be the opposite and no plans for the wedding after a long time, just take it off. Of course, there is no one-size-fits-all answer when it comes to short or long in being engaged, but the one involved gets to know when it has taken longer than expected. The good thing about women is that they are very patient, but when they get fed up, it would really have taken too long and it’ll be high time to take it off!
The sparkly piece of jewellery on your left ring finger represents your loving relationship and commitment you have to one another. It definitely has to be completed and must never be taken for granted. As in the beginning, the woman never begged for the engagement, so must be the case even for the wedding. It is better for someone not to engage you at all than to torture you with the engagement ring by failing to fulfil his promise.
There are some women who were turned into Lord of the rings before who will tell you that after breaking up and moving to the next relationship, they never want to hear of an engagement ring, but only need the real, complete wedding one as to avoid the trauma they went through.
Taking a ring off is accepting reality and dealing with the pain and torture it will be causing to you. Those high expectations men create with an engagement ring can be heartbreaking so if he is no longer clear with his plan, keeping it in a jewellery box helps relieve your stress. No woman is a Lord of the rings as you will find that there are some men who are not even ashamed of replacing an engagement ring when it loses its sparkle.
