SHE is the former Miss Tourism Personality Zimbabwe and is undoubtedly one of the most controversial models ever to emerge from the City of Kings.

She goes by the name Lungile Rie-kgotsofetsi Mathe, warmly known as Cyclone Ree. The latest is that he was reportedly involved in a bar brawl last Saturday.

The former Miss Personality who was once quoted saying, “What’s life without a little controversy” could be living up to her words after she let all hell loose at a local club.

The alleged bar bust-up took place at Babongile Skhonjwa’s birthday party at Jock and Saddle on Saturday night after she accused an unidentified lady of trying to snatch her man.

The evening was rosy and mellow as Skhonjwa’s friends danced the night away but the evening descended into a chaos after another lady became flirtatious with her “man”.

Although it is reported she did not suffer any injuries from the alleged fight.

“The fight was over a man. We were told that a young girl approached Ree’s ‘boyfriend’ while she had gone into the bar. When she returned to find the other lady getting cozy with her man she threw a fit. She was offended by that and reportedly threw the first punch,’’ said a staff member who requested anonymity.

The man at the centre of controversy is reportedly a foreign- based football player (name supplied). Cyclone Ree denied all allegations of her being involved in a brawl but confirmed that she had a misunderstanding with another lady.

“There was no fight, I only spoke to the guy and there was a small misunderstanding between us, nothing major transpired. Why would I want to fight,’’ she said laughing off the allegations.

According to rumour mongers that supposedly witnessed the fight, the footballer was driving a black BMW where Ree found him and the alleged “rival’’ getting acquainted.

“When she got to the car she asked them what was going on. She did not get a satisfactory answer and slapped the unidentified female in the face. She too retaliated and slapped her in the face; they grabbed each other for a while before the fight turned nasty. Ree was going to tear her apart if people didn’t intervene,’’ said a young lady close to Ree.

“I can’t say much about this issue, as the guy has already left. He will be back in town soon then we can talk about this issue man to man,’’ said Ree.

No police report was filed concerning the alleged brawl.
