Born again who is the mother? Vhakololo navhasiwana ndimatsheloni avhudi. Good morning. Being powerful and feeling powerful is very nice. Those who have never been powerful in their life-time please ask those that are powerful, they will tell you how nice it is to wield authority. There was talk about elections, a new constitution and all these are about power and authority. Where there is power and authority there is conflict because power is about resources. Linoni and others want elections yesterday so that more power can be bestowed upon them.Linoni has been approached by constituents in two constituencies. Do not ask me which district or province these are, politics is a game of power and some say it is a dirty game. I can see a lot of seating Members of the House of Assembly are worried about their seats because they have done nothing for their constituents. Linoni has said this before that election time is the time when politicians’ powers are returned to the people. It is the judgment day for the politicians. This business of promising to build bridges where there are no rivers does not work anymore. Politicians are advised to change their formula. The coming elections will not be about political parties, it will be about the integrity of the candidate. We, the people, have seen that politicians rule the same. We have seen that they all like Range Rovers, they all like Land Cruisers, they all like Mercedes Benz of all shapes and sizes. Born again who is the mother? I get sick, very sick when I hear some misguided youth arguing with their parents, and reminding them that they are born again, in the typical devil style quoting scriptures for their purpose. This happens when the parents will be trying to correct the young persons’ behaviour. Linoni witnessed one incident where a young girl was telling her father straight to his face that she was born again and has been delivered from the chains of slavery. She said she was now a new creation and does not want to be enslaved by societal conventions. Dear children you are born again by who? Who is your new mother and which hospital did she deliver you? Do not fool yourselves. If you are using the same bible that we all read, God says: Exodus 20 verse 12 (This is the fifth commandment and the first commandment with a promise) Honour your father and mother, that your days may be long in the land which the Lord your God gives you. Ephesians 6 v 1-3 Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. Honour your father and mother (this is the first commandment with a promise), that it may be well with you and that you may live long on the earth. Yes, you just have to honour your mother and father because they are the ones who were licensed to produce you by God. They wish the best for you and when they complain it is out of love. They have lived life as young people yesterday, today and will be with you tomorrow. If you continue with your evil way they might be forced to bury you first. I will ask again, at which hospital were you born again? These two people that you are undermining are the only parents you will ever have, the rest are friends, relatives, pastors, prophets, inyanga zakho, drinking mates, bedroom mates and work mates and all kinds of mates you can think about. All the blessings that you hope God will give you are rewards for honouring your parents. If you cannot honour your parents, the people that you see on a daily basis how can you honour God, a figure you have not seen. Do good and your parents will be happy. Pastors please help us. We are being challenged by our flesh and blood and their argument is that they are born again, they have found Jesus Christ, they are now a new creation. Tell this crop of youths that they are lost and need to change their ways ngavatendeuke zvakare. They are facing the wrong direction. What my friend sent Jozi Two little boys, ages 8 and 10, are excessively mischievous. They are always getting into trouble and their parents know if any mischief occurs in their town, the two boys are probably involved. The boys’ mother heard that a preacher in town had been successful in disciplining children, so she asked if he would speak with her boys. The preacher agreed, but he asked to see them individually. The mother sent the eight-year-old in the morning, with the older boy to see the preacher in the afternoon. The preacher, a huge man with a deep booming voice, sat the younger boy down and asked him sternly, “Do you know where God is, son?” The boy’s mouth dropped open, but he made no response, sitting there wide-eyed with his mouth hanging open. So the preacher repeated the question in an even sterner tone, “Where is God?” Again, the boy made no attempt to answer. The preacher raised his voice even more and shook his finger in the boy’s face and bellowed, “WHERE IS GOD?” The boy screamed and bolted from the room, ran directly home and dove into his closet, slamming the door behind him. When his older brother found him in the closet, he asked, “What happened?” The younger brother, gasping for breath, replied, “We are in BIG trouble this time!” “GOD is missing, and they think WE did it!” Let’s rabble rouse.
