LACK of information has since become a common denominator between commercial and communal farmers in Zimbabwe. A few years ago many people would have pointed a finger at lack of access to libraries and extension workers in remote areas of the country as a source of ignorance. Indeed extension work was almost grounded to a halt by the economic meltdown a few years ago, while libraries have remained uncommon around farming communities.
