THE Premier Soccer League has released the much awaited 2018 fixtures with the country’s blockbuster tie that features Highlanders and Dynamos coming early in Week Four.
The first “Battle of Zimbabwe” game featuring the country’s two most supported teams will be played in Harare as Dynamos will be the home side is most likely to be played on the weekend of 7-8 April considering Premiership action starts on 17 March. The reverse fixture is scheduled for Match Day 21.
Highlanders open their league campaign against Black Rhinos at Barbourfields next weekend while champions, FC Platinum take on are away to ZPC Kariba.
Dynamos are away to Chicken Inn in what looks like a difficult opening encounter for DeMbare.
Chicken Inn have won twice against Dynamos since their elevation to the PSL in 2011 while losing once and four matches have ended in stalemates when playing at home.
Other first week fixtures will see newboys Nichrut take on Mutare City while Ngezi Platinum play host to Herentals, Caps face Harare City while Bulawayo City entertain Chapungu, Bulawayo Chiefs travel to Yadah and Shabanie Mine are up against Triangle.
Match Day 12 sees Highlanders take on Caps United at BF while Dynamos host FC Platinum.
Another top drawer fixture between Highlanders and FC Platinum has been scheduled for the last weekend of games at Barbourfields and is set to provide a befitting finale
