SOCIAL media comedy sensation, Thubelihle “Nceku” Sibanda has proved his versatility through his tours in preparation for his upcoming live comedy show dubbed “Bhururu”.

The show is set for 22 December at Family of God auditorium (FOG). In preparation for the upcoming show, Nceku has been touring Bulawayo, meeting fans in efforts to make sure he is fully geared up for his vision 1 000 seats to be filled on the day.

Nceku won the audience during his maiden tour of the United Kingdom as well as South Africa and it is believed some of them will be traveling to Zimbabwe for his show.

His spokesperson Wisdom Nyathi said Nceku is working on his fill-up-

1 000-seats vision and things are in order so far considering the outcome he got from his international shows and the response his getting.

“Nceku has dedicated time to visit and tour places before his show. UK and South African tours are some of them. I can say that by the pace he is running at his vision of filling up FOG will be a reality. He has been getting overwhelming invitations from churches to come and minister to them in form of comedy and music,” Nyathi said.

Nyathi added that the Bhururu live comedy show is meant for Nceku’s fans so that they get to see him perform live on stage.

“This particular project is to bring the virtual audience into a live show where they will witness him live on stage, not only on his social media platforms and his UK fans have confirmed their attendance as they did not get enough of him while there and they want to have the full taste of the cake,” Nyathi said.

These live shows are going to be done on an annual basis so that his fans could have a continuity of his comedy.

Nceku is popular for his Christian comedy acts targeting every sphere, be it a Christian or not. He believes that his comedy should reach all individuals as it ministers to different people.

“The visits which are set to end on 17 December are targeting all spheres of life, not only churches, anyone who would like to host Nceku is free to get in touch with him,” he said.

The visits and tours have seen a good response as the tickets are already being bought and his social media platforms are active day and night.

“Already the office line is overwhelmed with a number of messages about the tickets, on the other hand responses from social media is overwhelming.

A lot of people are showing a lot of interest and as a team we are pushing hard on making sure that we fill up all seats and this vision turns into reality,” Nyathi said.

Those who have never witnessed Nceku perform will be delighted to attend the show and witness the best Christian comedy live. Tickets can be purchased at Studio Nosh at National Art Gallery in Bulawayo going for $3.
