REMEMBER the self-styled Bulawayo prophet who gained popularity from performing miracles, particularly using holy water to heal and reverse hexes (bombing) . . .

If the name prophet Ngwenya doesn’t ring a bell then read on. Prophet Ngwenya (Thabiso) is one of the most popular men of God to ever emerge from Zimbabwe, Bulawayo to be precise, healing and performing miracles for many people, including models, politicians and businessman.

The self-styled man of the cloth, who many have been wondering of his whereabouts, has been busy at his farm practicing horticulture and ranching. He has also been holding prayer sessions and services at his farm in Mthwakazi along the Kezi, Matopos road.

Today the prophet celebrates his 41st birthday at his house in Pumula, where a renowned award winning Botswana Dance Group — Chilenje Changwao is scheduled to perform.

Prophet Ngwenya who is the founder and leader of Faith in Christ International Church, told Sunday Life that he would be slaughtering four cows to celebrate his birthday, where he would also be praying and preach to the people in attendance.

“I have been at my farm in Mthwakazi where I practice cattle ranching and horticulture. I still do pray for people and I also hold crusades at the farm usually in April, August and December,” he said.
