RAP artistes are never far from controversy! Bulawayo’s up-and-coming rap artiste, Cal_Vin real name Mgcini Nhliziyo had one of his secrets revealed as sources allege he impregnated his girlfriend and later on forced her to terminate the pregnancy before dumping her. Sources privy to the development said Cal_vin’s ex-girlfriend who is popularly known as Carol Heart was impregnated by the rap artiste before he asked her to terminate the pregnancy. The source alleges that it was the reason why the two split.
“All I know is that Carol was pregnant with Cal_vin’s baby but she was later forced by the rapper to terminate the pregnancy. This, however, led the two to split as the relationship had now turned sour,” said the source.
Although Carol is said to have supported Cal_vin at his shows even after they broke up, the 30-year-old rap artiste is alleged to have ignored her on several occasions even after her efforts.
The source said at one time Carol was spotted at the same show throwing up at Cal_vin’s show, and when questioned she said she was pregnant and in the process of terminating the pregnancy.
“The girl was spotted at a show when she had come to support him. She, however, was spotted throwing up a couple of times and when a friend asked she said she was pregnant, although she was not keen on responding to questions when further asked,” said the source.
Without any sympathy to her situation, the rapper is said to have ignored Carol, brushed her off and told her friends that he does not have time for her although she had come to support her.
“Her girlfriend was seen alone at the show and Cal_vin said it is what it is. He even went on to say he does not have time for a moomish,” said the source.
However, contacted for comment, Carol denied ever terminating a pregnancy.
Carol confirmed that they were dating, although she could not give reasons as to why they broke up.
She denied allegations that she terminated Cal_vin’s pregnancy, and said their relationship ended because he had a short temper that would lead to continuous fights and ultimately ruined their relationship.
“We started dating in February and we broke up in August. It was my birthday and Cal_vin accused me of avoiding him while it was the other way round. We had issues and we fought almost all the time and I saw it best that we separate. About the pregnancy issue, it’s all lies. I never got pregnant,” she said.
Cal_vin also denied the claims that she got her girl pregnant and ordered her to terminate the pregnancy. He confirmed that they were dating.
The rapper fondly known as “Dat Luveve Boy” said they broke up with Carol, although he refused to divulge information on their breakup.
“Yes, I did date Carol, but I did not get her pregnant and terminate the pregnancy as alleged. I cannot say why we broke up, but all I can say is that we had problems and complications,” said Cal_vin.
The allegations come at a time when the rising star recently got a nod from South African award-winning rapper, Casper Nyovest who seemed keen on collaborating with him.
