Organisers of the much hyped Vic Falls Party Bus (VFPB) have expressed satisfaction at the successful run of the second edition of the party bus. The fun filled ride which took revellers to the iFLIX Vic Falls Carnival was made possible through the efforts of different partners which include DStv, Zambezi Lager, Divine Assignments, Paynow and the iFLIX Vic Falls Carnival.

The project manager of Enthuse Afrika, Stephanie Kapfunde expressed satisfaction at the outcome of the event, held at the end of last year, and said the party bus will keep growing. She said they expect this year’s edition to be bigger than the previous one.

“The unique personalities, diverse backgrounds, bucket loads of fun and overall good vibes have been great. I have enjoyed watching the impact of this experience on everyone who participates,” she said.

Stephanie said judging from the tickets that were sold last year, Enthuse Afrika have since seen their waiting list for 2018 double in capacity, assuring them of an even bigger Vic Falls Party Bus. She said they were encouraged by the positive feedback they got from returning clients.

“Our patrons had a great time, the VFPB is not for the faint hearted and we had a brilliant bunch from at least three different continents. It’s encouraging when return clients tell you you’re doing better at each attempt; naturally we had some hiccups that we appreciate being highlighted. The Vic Falls Party Bus is in pursuit of perfection and that is a journey in itself, a journey we do not intend on abandoning any time soon and we can thank the great partners and patrons for that! This year we have even bigger ideas and greater ambitions,” she said.

In preparation of the coming edition of the Vic Falls Party Bus, ticket sales will open in August. She said a multiple payment plan and reservations will be offered.

“Organisers will avail tickets in February for their Eastern Highlands version of the project, set for August as well. For more details on upcoming events and updates one can follow ‘The Vic Falls Party Bus’ and ‘#ENTHUSE’ via press and Social Media,” she said.

The Party Bus hosted an array of individuals including three Australian tourists, semi-professionals, varsity students and famed photographer Tino Nyandoro who made sure that everyone remained focused through stills of memorable experiences.

Attendants were treated to a non-stop adrenaline fuelled trip from their departure on 28 December at the Bronte Hotel in Harare. The trip took them to Gweru first for a Tshisa Nyama/Braai/Barbeque Dinner at the picturesque Village Lodge.

Bulawayo was a test of strength for the participants as they club hopped starting with the famed Private Lounge, live music and performances at the newly opened Red Café and ending the night in the sound city of Bulawayo which is Club 263.

In Victoria Falls the party goers drove straight into the Vic Falls Carnival Bush and Train Party which boasted of two Party Bus DJs, Star FM’s Icytat and Bulawayo based mix-master — Feel G. This was followed by two days of non-stop action which included the Rain Forest walk and a lunchtime cruise on the mighty Zambezi in one of the finest vessels that Victoria Falls has to offer, the Zambezi Explorer for the Battle of the Zambezi — Zim vs Zed Cruise.

The cruise offered the newly franchised Zed Vic Falls Party Bus patrons to mix with their Zimbabwean counterparts, needless to say a nice cold one upon the wild waters of the Zambezi made for great conversations and interactions.
