HIGHLANDERS’ discard Marshall Machazane, now with Whawha has stoked flames ahead of the two sides’ clash.
“Highlanders are under pressure from their fans because they have not been doing well at home and if we keep possession their fans will turn against them and we will win the match.

“I am very positive and I see ourselves winning 2-0,’’ said Machazane, who suffered his latest Bosso’s snub when he came for trials earlier this season.

“We have been going through a rough phase and it’s only us the players who can change the situation we are in right now. We will come out well and it is our obligation to make the fans happy.”

Machazane was also full of praises for Whawha’s technical team.

“In Mutasa (Lloyd) and Petros (Luke) we have the best coaches who are very committed, good advisors and they are our role models and we are very much blessed to be working under them,” he added.

Whawha had a nightmarish performance last month when they lost 0-6 to How Mine at the same venue.

Today they visit the wounded Bosso at their favourite hunting ground Emagumeni but Machazane has been home to that pitch since 2001 until 2010 playing in the same team with Honour Gombami, Mkhuphali Masuku, Zenzo Moyo and Richard Choruma.

Bongani Mafu on the other hand is under pressure to win and really knows that another defeat this afternoon will see his head being put on the block, and there will be no excuses this time around.

Whawha, who are blowing hot and cold, are giant killers having reserved their best against Dynamos and FC Platinum. And their camp is cherishing adding Bosso on their casuality list.

“It’s high time we outplay Highlanders and it’s also high time we show the world what Whawha is capable of doing. I am going to collect two points from Bosso tomorrow whilst we will score at least two goals,” said the former Sporting Lions, Kiglon, Dynamos and FC Platinum coach.
