Bantu,Yadah progress to Chibuku Super Cup first round

BANTU Rovers and Yadah booked their places in the first round of the Chibuku Super Cup after they won their preliminary stage fixtures played at Mandava Stadium in Zvishavane yesterday.

A brace by Nigel Papius and one goal from Remington Masuku gave Bantu Rovers a 3-1 victory over Tsholotsho. Marlon Mushonga scored the solitary goal for Tsholotsho. According to the draw conducted last week, Bantu Rovers will now meet How Mine.

Former Chicken Inn striker Moses Demera’s second half goal gave Yadah a 1-0 victory over Hwange. Yadah go on to play against Chicken Inn in the first round of the country’s most lucrative cup competition.
