CHICKEN Inn Football Club have been presented with their bus from Nyaradzo Group which was promised to them at the beginning of this year.
The Gamecocks were presented with their spanking new wheels at a ceremony held in the city on Wednesday. Nyaradzo Group general manager, Tendayi Kanjanda, handed over the keys to the new bus to Simbisa Brands finance director Onias Moyo.
Coach Joey Antipas, his technical staff, first team players and the club’s executive led by chairman Juta Tshuma attended the bus handover ceremony.
Chicken Inn have become the fifth Premier Soccer League club after giants Highlanders, Dynamos, Caps United and Airforce side Chapungu to get a bus from Nyaradzo.
Since the start of the season, Nyaradzo had availed a bus from their fleet for use by the Gamecocks in their travels for matches. The new bus from with Nyaradzo will ease the cost of hiring transport whenever the 2015 champions take a trip to fulfill their fixtures.
The deal between Chicken Inn and Nyaradzo was announced in March when Bonvie Medical Aid, Black Shark and Zibuko Capital were also named as the other Gamecocks sponsors.
Chicken Inn have started the season on a bright note as they are second with 26 points, a point behind log leaders FC Platinum.
The Gamecocks will have a feel of the new bus when they travel to Hwange to face Chipangano at the Colliery Stadium in a league match to be played on Sunday.
