THE writing has always been on the wall as to when Genesis Mangombe would take the exit door voluntarily or be fired.
In a midnight statement, the Caf Confederations Cup representatives chairman Moses Maunganidze said Mangombe resigned and that Loyd ‘Mablanyo’ Chigowe will be in charge of the team.

“We wish to advise all our stakeholders that the club has gracefully accepted the resignation of Genesis Mangombe as head coach of Dynamos football club with immediate effect.
We want to thank Mr Mangombe for the services he rendered to the club and for all the achievements that the club attained during his tenure,” said Maunganidze.
