A 26-YEAR-OLD man from Pumula South lost his car after it was stolen by a hitch-hiker he had picked up in Luveve while he was on his way home on 14 September.

Bulawayo provincial police spokesperson, Inspector Abednico Ncube confirmed the incident.
It is alleged that when the complainant reached Pumula, he left his black Honda Fit idling with keys in the ignition while he collected something at a house in the suburb.

“The suspect, who was seated in the front seat alongside the complainant, jumped into the driver’s seat and drove away towards Khami prison. The owner of the vehicle went on to file a report with the police.

Khami Maximum Prison.

“Police would like to appeal to members of the public with information which may lead to the arrest of the suspect and recovery of the stolen motor vehicle to report at any nearest police station,” said Inspector Ncube. – @Valencia__mavae.
