HWANGE Football Club continued with their march towards a return to the Premier Soccer League when they edged their Zifa Southern Region Division One fellow title aspirants Arenel Movers 1-0 at the Colliery Stadium yesterday.

Kelly Shiyandindi, the Hwange captain converted from the spot in the 42nd minute to hand the log leaders victory over the second-placed Arenel.

It was a contentious penalty awarded by referee Donacious Munenge after one of the assistant referees, Tapiwa Sibanda raised the flag to signal a foul inside the box. The decision did not go down well with the Arenel technical team which reportedly attacked Sibanda after the game only to be restrained by the players and the police.
