ZIMBABWEANS must shun divisions as they derail gains of the liberation struggle, at a time when the Second Republic gears to accelerate development countrywide.

Zanu-PF Bulawayo Provincial chairman Cde Jabulani Sibanda said the ruling party has cast its net wide to accommodate everyone in its quest for unity and development. Cde Sibanda said this at the Zanu-PF Bulilima West Constituency Thank You Rally that was held at Ward 7 at Masendu Cultural Centre on Friday.

The gathering was held as a celebration for Zanu-PF’s overwhelming victory in Bulilima West constituency and Masendu ward in particular in the 2018 harmonised elections. Cde Sibanda castigated tribalism and implored people to unite in order to facilitate meaningful development.

“I have never seen a Ndebele. I have never seen colour in people. We are one. Let’s not divide each other on language or tribal grounds. You cannot do that and survive. There is no tribe better than the other. Let us unite as Zimbabweans and as Africans.

Also don’t play with this freedom, don’t be swayed or bought to betray the country,” said Cde Sibanda.
Bulilima West legislator and Deputy Minister of Information Communication Technology, Postal and Courier Services Cde Dingumuzi Phuti called upon the people from Masendu and the constituency at large to continue pinning their hopes on the ruling party.

“Thank you to the people of Masendu on voting overwhelmingly for the party and President Emmerson Mnangagwa in the 2018 elections. This must be maintained and emulated by other wards in the forthcoming elections as the ruling party will continue to ensure it changes people’s lives and leaves no one and no place behind,” said Cde Phuti.

Zanu-PF Politburo member Cde Richard Ndlovu urged people not to forget the history of the country and the sacrifices that were made for the country to attain independence. — @mthabisi_mthire
