SHE is one of small screen TV’s fast rising entertainers and she happens to be of Zimbabwean descent.

Unlike her Zimbabwean “sisters and brothers” in Hollywood Mimi Ndiweni has carved a niche for herself on the small screen.

She assumes the character of Fringilla in Netflix’s latest fantasy series — The Witcher — a villainous character that may have compellingly drawn your attention to the series. Born Mimi Ndiweni on 31 August 1991, she started on her path of professional acting six years ago, featuring on small screen roles and on drama stages.

Mimi, according to Glamour Fame only started scratching the surface of what she can really bring to a show and movie, in her amazing performance in the series The Witcher.

“The nuanced, rehearsed performance of stage translated well for the dialogue delivery performance of the actress in movies and TV shows,” said Glamour Fame.

Mimi was born in United Kingdom and most off her life was spent in Guildford, Surrey. She developed her love for acting at an early age and after completing her high school, she put her effort and time to perfecting the craft.

After completing her high school, she joined the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, located in Cardiff. She then graduated from the institution to venture into the world of acting. Mimi’s parents met in the UK, her mother is British and her father is Zimbabwean.

Though Mimi is really yet to make a massive mark when it comes to starring in a movie, she’s definitely been part of some massive production in her yet rising career. Mimi made her debut movie debut in the Disney flick Cinderella, where she played a less than notable character, who appeared for a split second in the film, as the slipper lady.

Mimi also appeared in movies such as The Legend of Tarzan and was later cast in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.

“If it felt like you could remember one of the resistance soldiers in the movie, then it was most probably Mimi, she appeared in a lot of the Rebel base sequences in the final Skywalker saga film,” Glamour Fame said.

The Witcher is setting the record books on fire for Netflix, and the fans are also embracing the show. The cast of the series was the biggest reason for the show’s good reception among fans, and Mimi is one of the actress’s who made the series popular.

Mimi, as Fringilla was almost the main villain of the first season of The Witcher. She was sent to Nilfgard instead of Yennefer, played by Anya Chalotra.  Fringilla, along with the rightful ruler of Nilfgard, make their way through all the countries in the continent, killing people and taking over kingdoms.

The slick portrayal of the character was what really pushed the performance to the pinnacle of all the performance in an entertaining first season of The Witcher.
