In a statement from the National Prosecuting Authority of Zimbabwe, it was revealed that Best Nyan’ara (36) of Chigwiki village in Chivi was found guilty and sentenced by the Zvishavane Magistrate’s court for stock theft.

“Sometime in July 2024, the accused person stole an ox from Mabasa dam and took it to Chigwiki village,” said the statement.

The accused person drove the ox and abandoned it in Taitisi Village. The beast was later found dead and the com complainant positively identified its carcass as his missing cow.
