The Gate of the New Year

Sunday Sermon with Apostle Chisale

Greetings beloved nation in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

The gate to the new year is the midnight hour between 31 December and 1 January.

The door or gate of the new year is now shut for 2022.

It is supposed to swing open in the spirit at 12 midnight on 1 January.

However, the reality is that for most people, the gate of the new year never truly opens for them spiritually.

Instead it remains tightly shut against them year after year and often without people knowing it.

Why is that the case? The Bible tells us that there are invisible horsemen sitting in array at the gate in Isaiah 22:7.

So the entrance of the gate to the new year is in the midnight hour.

Whosoever takes control of the gate in the crucial first seconds of the new year determines what happens throughout the year.

So how you enter the new year will also determine how you finish the year, meaning you can capture the entire year spiritually.

Let us not forget that the spirit is the mother of the physical.

So capture the entire year spiritually by shutting the gates of the next 12 months against demonic powers that operate at the gate of 2022.

How many prophecies of greatness and of prosperity many Christians usually receive at the beginning of every year?

How many powerful themes are declared at the beginning of the year? How many of them ever come to pass? A lot of Christians don’t know how to contend at the gate of the new year as we see in 1 Timothy 1:18.

The enemy will be busy shutting the gate and cancelling those prophecies and themes because the church does not want to fight a good warfare of prophecies that were proclaimed over our lives.

Why is it that most of these prophecies many a times never see the light of day? It is because the Christians entertain the enemy by allowing laziness and most Christians will be slumbering and partying the night away.

We spoke on gates and doors, that the year has got.

So in order for the gates to be opened for you, you need the keys and for gates to be shut you need keys.

We shall talk about a few keys that will open the gates to 2022.

The Bible says in Matthew 16:19, “I will give you the keys of the kingdom of Heaven, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in Heaven, whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven”.

So we see that keys are used for opening doors or gates. If the year has got doors or gates, so you need keys.

Key number One:  You should pray that God helps you to forget the past.

The Bible says in Isaiah 43; 18-19 “Remember yee not the former things”. Meaning that the things of the old have a way to dictate our present.

Remember Paul says, “one thing I do is to forget that which is behind me”.

For the new things to spring up you have to forget the past, so if you do not deal with the past it will choke the new things that are springing up for this season.

Begin to disconnect yourself from the past.

Key number Two: One thing that you should understand is that key number two sees the year in the spirit, you do not enter physically the year, you enter it in the spirit.

Remember we said life has got 2 foundations: 1) is the foundation of the spirit and 2) is the physical foundation and the physical foundation is given birth by the spiritual foundation.

So the spirit is the mother of the physical.

Meaning you may actually celebrate a happy 2022 while in the realm of the spirit there is no celebration.

So what you need to understand is that for you to enter the year, to seize the year, to enjoy, to receive breakthroughs you must seize the new year in the spirit.

How do you seize your year? It is by doing 2 things. 1) by programming and 2) by de-programming the heavens.

You must begin to learn to program the heavens and begin to de-program the heavens.

There is a book that God has written concerning your life. Everything about your life is mapped in the book, your calendar according to Psalms 139 vs 16.

When you read in the book of Job, you will understand in Job 31 vs 35 the Bible says that there is a book that the enemy has written concerning your life.

Begin to de-program what the enemy has written for you, family, business, destiny, children and whatever that surrounds your destiny. Cancel the book that has been written by my enemies with the blood of Jesus.

Begin to activate the book that has been written by God concerning your life.

Begin to declare that let the purposes and the plans of God concerning the book that God has written for you be fulfilled in your life and in your destiny.

Key number Three: Begin to speak to the gates, begin to declare and open gates and open doors over your life.

You can be saying you have entered 2022 but whilst in the spirit realm the gates of 2022 are closed.

Begin to declare the gates of 2022 according to the plan and the purposes of God are open for you.

Begin to declare the gates of the south, north, east and west are open for you.

I want you to begin to pray according to Acts 12 vs 9-10, we see an angelic ministry opening a gate for Peter and the Bible says and that gate opened by itself and that gate lead unto the city.

Begin to pray that every stubborn gate that has been closed in your life right now you activate the angels, the ministry of angels to open gates for you for success, promotion, multiplication, extra-ordinary fruitfulness, open Heaven, destiny, let the gates of your destiny be opened, the gate of your life, your family that was closed by covenants and sealed by sacrifice, let it be opened over your life.

The Bible says in the book of Isaiah 60 vs 11, therefore their gates shall be opened continuously, begin to pray and say 2022 let your gates be opened continuously.

Tell your gate to close when diseases come or calamities come, when disappointment comes, let your gates close.

Begin to close and say every gatekeeper of your destiny and every watchmen let them be disappointed. May you be blessed in 2022.
