The Mysteries of the Kingdom of Heaven

Sunday Sermon with Apostle Chisale

Greetings beloved nation, in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Matthew 13:11 says, “He answered and said unto them, because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of Heaven, but to them it is not given” We see Jesus talking to his disciples about the mysteries of the Kingdom of Heaven.

In this kingdom, we rule by mysteries and there are many mysteries that a believer must know so that we may be victorious in this world and conquer demonic activities. But what are mysteries? The definition according to the dictionary says a mystery is, “a subject, activity that is very complicated, secret or difficult to understand and that people want to learn about”. Mysteries are hidden truths that God uses to bless his people.

When they are unveiled to a believer, they become a revelation or a system of Heaven that God uses to lift His people or to make them rule in the midst of their enemies. A mystery is a code that a believer can use to conquer the enemy without the enemy knowing.

We discover that the devil cannot penetrate Heaven because there are mysteries that surround the throne room of God that prevent the devil from entering into it. In other words, there are secrets that God has put in place in Heaven that make the devil and his demons unable to penetrate it.

Those secrets are called mysteries. So, as believers, we should ask God to reveal the mysteries about Heaven and ask that they be given to us so that as we dwell on earth we can experience Heaven on earth. As the Bible says in Matthew 6:10, “Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in Heaven.” Meaning as long as we are on earth, we can activate the mysteries of Heaven so that our lives can be surrounded by the secrets of Heaven and as a result the enemy cannot penetrate into our lives.

So, we can find out what makes Heaven to be what it is, powerful and invisible from the enemy. It is the mysteries we need to ask God to give us by the revelational knowledge that comes by the Holy Spirit. We see Jesus, even though he was on earth, he demonstrated the mysteries of the kingdom by feeding 5000 men with five loaves of bread and two fish. We also see that the heroes of faith understood the mysteries of the kingdom of Heaven.

What mystery did Elijah activate during the drought period because we discover that during those three and a half years of hunger, it was Elijah and the king who ate. We never hear of Elijah complaining about hunger, so meaning there was a mystery operating in his life. That is why the Bible says these mysteries are not given to unbelievers but are given to us as God’s children so that when others are complaining, we instead are satisfied, rejoicing and celebrating.
When others are broke, we have enough. When others are sick, we are walking in divine health and healing. But as long as we do not know these mysteries, we will talk like unbelievers and complain about everything. Ladies and gentlemen, mysteries have been given to us, so we need to find them by the studying of the word of God and by the leading of the Holy Spirit.

These mysteries made the apostles and our forefathers live a mysterious life because they understood the mysteries of the kingdom of Heaven. People like Noah who just stood by the door of the ark and watched different kinds of animals coming inside the ark without anyone telling them where the ark was. They came two by two, some seven by seven and let us not forget that these animals were cruel. It was after the fall of Adam,but they located the ark.

God is bringing the church into that dimension whereby people will begin to locate your churches without anyone telling them, but you shall hear them say they found this place to be their home. Remember, these two by two animals represent continuity and favour. So, ladies and gentlemen, if we don’t know any mysteries of the kingdom, we will die like chickens. People will die poor without ever owning properties and become beggars.

The reason why we need the mysteries of the kingdom of Heaven is because we are humans but we are surrounded by mysterious occurrences that are assigned by dark forces that are bringing havoc in people’s lives, marriages, businesses and ministries.

Knowing the mysteries of the kingdom of Heaven, note, Jesus said mysteries and not mystery, will help us to block these forces and enable us to enter into certain territories that our fathers did not possess. Once again, I want to invite those who are not born again to come to Jesus, accept him as your personal Lord and saviour. May the Lord God bless our beloved nation Zimbabwe. Amen
