The mystery of praise

The Sunday News

Sunday sermon with Apostle Chisale

Greetings beloved nation. As the nations of the world we are going through hard times of being surrounded by Covid-19 that has seen the lives of people destroyed, some businesses closing down and people losing jobs because of this pandemic. Despite all that is happening God wants to bring restoration and healing to the nations of the world and especially to our nation.

Mathew 13:11 says “He answered and said unto them, because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.”

Today I want to talk about one of the mysteries of the kingdom, a mystery that will bring a total turnaround in what has been happening in the nations of the world. A mystery that will give birth to the healing of individuals and nations from this pandemic, a mystery that will attract God to move and bring a total breakthrough. There are mysteries in the kingdom of heaven that need to be invoked for your life, for your business as well as for churches and every other sector in our lives. People, communities, churches, pastors and nations are generally discouraged because of the challenges they are facing. God is about to turn things for our favour.

There is a mystery of dance and praise which may sound weird and not understandable. Why should we dance or praise in the midst of confusion, pain and discouragement? I know others will say we have been praying, fasting and waiting upon God but we are not seeing any change. But I want to encourage the nation that despite what is happening in the nations of the world, there is a God in heaven who is able to do mighty things. A God who can heal and deliver us.

We see in the bible that when the children of Israel were surrounded by calamities, they would activate this mystery of dance and praise.

They would begin to praise God in the midst of their enemies and God would bring about victory. Despite what you have lost, I want you to put on the gear of praise and begin to praise God.

During this pandemic God is calling you to dance and praise him like the children of Israel. When you are doing that, there are certain spirits that are being broken. It is a sign that God is above all things that are happening in the nations of the world. We see in 2nd Chronicles 20:21-27, Judah being surrounded by three nations wanting to destroy Israel. This is what is happening now, we are being surrounded by unseen forces that want to destroy the destinies of God’s people. The children of Israel inquire from the prophet and the Lord says to them in 2nd Chronicles 20:15 “Be not afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God’s.”

I am encouraging the nation not to be afraid of what is happening, but to know that God will fight for us. He will bring healing and deliverance because we are God’s people. Despite what has happened during this pandemic, with people having lost hope and being confused, there is hope in God. I have come to tell you not to lose hope because God loves us. We see in verse 21 “And when he had consulted with the people, he appointed singers unto the Lord, and that should praise the beauty of holiness, as they went out before the army, and to say, Praise the Lord; for his mercy endureth for ever.” So in this season, it is a season of praise. Let’s praise him even more.

Let’s dance before the surroundings, before these calamities and when we are doing that, we are mocking the devil and his agencies to show him that he was defeated at the cross of Calvary. Let the pastors tell their congregants to begin to praise the Lord in dance, in a way that will give God glory. Wherever you are, at home, at work, in your car begin to celebrate God. Play a song that gives God glory and thank him like the children of Judah. The bible says they went out before the army to say praise the Lord for His mercy endures forever.

In verse 22-24 “And when they began to sing and to praise, the Lord set ambushments against the children of Ammon, Moab, and mount Seir, which were come against Judah; and they were smitten.23 For the children of Ammon and Moab stood up against the inhabitants of mount Seir, utterly to slay and destroy them: and when they had made an end of the inhabitants of Seir, every one helped to destroy another.24 And when Judah came toward the watch tower in the wilderness, they looked unto the multitude, and, behold, they were dead bodies fallen to the earth, and none escaped.”
