If one is in business, the first thing you learn is never to go into a business you have no full knowledge of running. This is because it is literally too high a risk. It is like driving a ten-tonne truck over a bridge that has a sign saying maximum weight ten tonnes. It is too high a risk, you never know if you will fail or succeed. These actions are influenced by what I call the adventurous spirit. This spirit is very dangerous because you continuously lose money. This differs from the spirit of poverty. In this case people begin to explore avenues they have never researched about and that are completely new to them. On a smaller scale people begin to sleep in hotels that are too far above their pay grade because they got paid.
This is short lived because they do not have the necessary income to maintain this sort of lifestyle. Money has a way of making people flashy and snobbish. Without it they are easy to get along with and once it is in their pocket it changes their characters and they become flamboyant. They begin showing off, it’s a spirit in money.
The power spirit is another spirit associated with money that gives a false sense of being powerful because people bow to you on the day you have money. They submit, not out of respect, but to beg for favours that your money can buy. The power spirit will make people buy alcohol for the whole bar so that he is feared as a rich man. He will begin to send people around to get this and that for him. People influenced by the power spirit will begin to brag about their ability to sleep with any woman and their ability to buy all the alcohol in the bar. In their bragging they forget that the word says if we are to brag let it be about the Lord and his goodness. Normally most of the people that are influenced by the power spirit do not really have the money that they portray and when it runs out they are normally seen looking for money launders in order to borrow money to survive through the weeks until next pay day and of cause to keep up appearance and the image of wealth.
This spirit does not only affect individuals, it exists within nations and companies. Some companies will maintain the image of wealth by paying its employees exorbitant salaries and buying them expensive company cars that they are unable to sustain in the long run and they neglect the supplies that make the company tick. America is a powerful nation because their foreign policy is power spirit saturated. They will lend money to nations that will accept non-biblical laws like legalising prostitution and being gay. They will support wrong accusations on heads of states in order to start a war on nations because their country will not conform to its preferred style of rule that gives free will to the devil to move as he pleases and after all they do so to boost their powerful ammunition industry.
In Christ this is not the case. No, not at all. The word says we rule with him in heavenly places. This means once you receive Jesus you become of higher spiritual rank than money because the Holy Spirit himself is resident in you.
