HAVE you ever noticed the feeling you have when you have money in your pocket? You are sort of happy and energetic. Most people are normally seen by walking fast, or talking really fast with no time to pay attention to other things. When you have money you always have a lot to do. Others become paranoid of thieves or crooks trying to steal from them. Which may explain why wealthy people have sections of town they don’t go to because they associate those places with thieves. Most have a spring in their step because of the different effects that money has on them.
After you get money, have you noticed how you are in an acquisition mode, you tend to want to get new property, nice food, and be in places that relax your mind. The spirit in money works in this manner. It encourages you to do things. For example, it pushes you to buy certain foods not because you are hungry, but because you miss them. That’s the power in that particular thing that most people mistake for just a paper. Money is not just printed paper. It’s representative of the effort you have put in advancing yourself. That explains a strike for salaries increase, in other words when you strike, you are saying the money they are giving you is not representative of the effort you put at work. So money is a representative of effort. So money then is two things, a representation of effort and a spirit. The spirit behind money makes you think you are in control, in actual fact you are not the one in control, it’s the spirit in money that is in control. Biblically the power in money is expressed by King Solomon in Ecclesiastes 10.
Ecclesiastes 10 verse 9
A feast is made for laughter, wine makes life merry, and money is the answer for everything.
Money is this way because when it speaks everything stops and listens. This includes people, money can influence most people, with exception only to those who already understand how money works and those with the Holy Spirit in them. The rest are subject to money, whether they admit it or not. Even the rich. As a man you can have any woman you want in the world with money. As a woman most men may be intimidated by you if you have a constant and large supply of money. People tend to overlook things they should not because of the power of the dollar. But money is just a spirit that influences the behaviour of people and everything around you. Money is more spiritual than it is physical.
Most people that are under the influence of money have a spirit of poverty also known as the spirit of waste. They get into what I call the “acquisition mode”, buying this and that without thinking, impulse buying. These actions are influenced by having money to spend. This is why on pay days you notice in most towns activity is higher than on usual days. Because generally speaking, there are more poor people who work than there are rich people. The spirit of confusion also takes control at the same time. People have no idea what to buy or why they are buying. They begin to spend unnecessarily. The spirit of confusion will give you reasons to spend money on so many things that you will find worthless soon after the money has run out. A large portion of my life was spent in the town of Hwange, I noticed one thing about the majority of the people there, even after going without their salary for close to a year, the moment money is in their bank accounts, that night bars and taxis will be very busy catering to the luxurious needs of the people. Instead of investing to cushion oneself from possible recurrence of the same disaster of being unpaid for so long, all they want is to party and forget their troubles. Poverty works that way when combined with the spirit in money.
Since the agenda of the devil is to kill, steal and destroy you, the spirit of death cannot be omitted in his equation. Men begin to womanise risking STIs, HIV and engaging in adrenalin rush activities such as drag racing that could kill them. They do all this in the name of enjoying the money they worked hard for and they forget that while you plan to enjoy your money and God is not part of the plans you plan in vain. God cannot be part of any plan to enjoy money that contradicts his word. God will never be part of a plan to womanise.
