THE national Under-23 football team’s preparations for back-to-back Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Mozambique are already underway. 

Zimbabwe will play away against their Mozambican counterparts in Maputo on 22 March before completing the two-legged tie at home four days later at the National Sports Stadium.

According to Xolisani Gwesela, the Zifa communications and competitions manager, the local-based players are in camp at the Zifa village save for Harare City players currently on tour with their clubs. The absent players are expected to join the team on Monday while foreign-based players will be available on 18 March. From this provisional list only 18 will travel for the encounter and the final list will be pushed out three days before the team leaves.
