Arenel Movers 0-2 Yadah
A goal in each half by Evans Rusike and Vincent Sango was all that the visiting Yadah Stars needed to beat Arenel Movers in a Castle Lager Premier Soccer League tie at Luveve Stadium.
Rusike, a former Warriors forward, struck the ball home in the 36th minute when he beat an out of position Arenel Movers goalkeeper, Aaron Ngwenya.
The goal came against the run of play. Vincent Sango made it two for the Miracle Boys in the 66th minute after he beat a badly exposed Ngwenya from inside the box.
It was Arenel Movers fourth defeat of the season.
The Sweet Boys’ house seems to be burning and their gaffer, Farai Tawachera said there was a need for a professional approach.
Arenel Movers did not engage in a camp prior to the match, as it was called off on Friday evening.
“It’s very bad, very bad, we were not there. The whole setup is wrong, from the administration up to the ground. We are trying our best as coaches but it’s not coming out. I wouldn’t want to talk much about it but the whole setup is just wrong. I’m not throwing in the towel but, they need to correct their mistakes. If we lose like this people will sit down but, if we continue picking points here and there they won’t see the danger of it. This is a wake-up call for us.
They think football is played by coaches and players but, it’s not like that. That’s why it’s a house, everyone must play their part. Going into the field, we were not there,” said Tawachera.
On the other hand, Yadah Stars head coach Thomas Ruzive could not hide his joy.
“We played very well, it’s well done to the boys,” said Ruzive.
He added: “If you check in the last games we have been creating a lot of chances but failing to convert. Today (yesterday), it was a different story.”
Yadah Stars, who missed Khama Billiat through suspension, are now on 13 points.
The two teams were both on 10 points.
