YOUTHS are set to become key beneficiaries of the Second Republic’s Vision 2030 which seeks to achieve an empowered and prosperous upper middle-income society by 2030 while also address economic imbalances.

Addressing youths drawn from the Bulawayo’s 60 party districts at Davies Hall yesterday, Zanu-PF Deputy Secretary for Youth Affairs Cde John Paradza said he had been tasked by President Mnangagwa to identify mining opportunities for youths.

“As a party we are aware that the youths are crying for job opportunities. As a result, I asked the President to provide us with mines and he tasked me and my executive to identify the opportunities that are there that will expressly benefit the youth of this country. We are in the process of doing this and very soon we will be reporting back to the President,” Cde Paradza told a well attended inter-district youth meeting. We want places which will be identified as belonging to the youths of this country who are protecting the legacy of our revolution. The President is aware of our needs and committed to empowering the youth of this country.”
