SOUTH Africa-based Zimbabwean rugby referees, Shemeah Ndlovu and Noah Muunganirwa have been appointed to officiate at the Under-18 Craven Week as well as the Under-16 Grant Khomo Week respectively.

The two referees are under the Pumas in South Africa’s Mpumalanga Province. Ndlovu will be one of the referees for South Africa’s flagship schoolboy rugby tournament, the Under-18 Craven Week, which makes a return this year after not being held in 2020 and 2021 due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

“I am so grateful for the opportunity that I got to go and referee at that level amongst the 8 referees that were selected the whole of SA,’’ Ndlovu commented.

Last Wednesday, Pumas congratulated Ndlovu and Muunganirwa for their respective appointments.

“Congratulations to Shemeah Ndlovu for being selected to referee for the Craven week U/18’s and Noah Muunganirwa for being selected to referee for the Grand Khomo U/16’s rugby teams. Wishing you all the best,’’ posted the Pumas.
