SOUTH Africa-based Zimbabwean self-proclaimed prophet, Sisonke Ndlovu, who has for the greater part of 2016 made headlines for . . . well, all the wrong reasons, is seeking to redeem himself in the City of Kings, as he is seeking to host a three-day revival conference.

The conference will be held in Sizinda at the Sizinda Vocational Centre. He told Sunday Life that he was not concerned with what people thought of him but was particularly concerned with saving the souls of many.

“It’s not about me but it’s about saving the many lost souls out there. As a man I know I have done wrong but it is through testament and forgiveness from the Lord that we redeem ourselves and are able to stand in front of people to preach his word,” he said.

He said the conference will be held from 8-10 July, where he expects local religious ministers, gospel groups and artistes. The conference has been themed “Weakening the Wicked 2016”.

“We are expecting resident ministers and people from the political and religious divide, as well as people from Mozambique. We will have many Bulawayo-based groups performing there. One to note is GrindHood. They released a track dedicated to my life story and any other Christian who may have fallen. The track is called The Terrorist, that’s my nickname,” he said.

Sisonke rose to fame in 2014 after he made headlines when he reportedly performed miracles at one of his services in Bulawayo. From thereof he was dubbed The Terrorist Prophet by his congregants and close allies. He however, moved to South Africa, where he has been based for almost two years and has been ministering. He was in the news early this years after his ex-wife accused him of being a cheat, among other issues.
