God wants us to have money

The Sunday News

MOST Christians have been tormented by the world for countless decades because they do not understand the principles of the physical and spiritual world regarding the existence of each individual. Some Christians live their lives in poverty that is only soothed for a few days during month ends and during Sundays when the presence of God gives them comfort. They live in ignorance of who they are in this world, thus they do not know their rights and abilities.

Hosea 4 verse 6

“My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge, because you have rejected my knowledge I also reject you as my priests, because you have ignored the law of your God I will also ignore your children.”

The devil then takes advantage of this ignorance to torment them and eventually get them into satanic covenants that will only add the burden on God’s people. He will kill all the faith that one has in the Lord, steal all gifts that God intended for his people and destroy the relationship they had with God to ultimately send them to hell. This is his agenda, no matter how he appears to you, all he wants is to destroy Gods intention for your life and send you to hell.

John 10 verse 10

“The thief enters only to steal, kill and destroy. I came so that they could have life indeed, so that they could live life to the fullest.”

With that in mind, we know that religion is a way of life. So each religion has their own ways of generating wealth. We will go through biblical principles of wealth creation and how one can put them to work in their everyday lives. I am going to try and illustrate how we as Christians can perpetually remain in the presence of the Holy Spirit and get his permanent assistance to attain limitless wealth and find even more reason to glorify the name of King Jesus and what he did for us on the cross.

Money is not bad

The church has this crazy assumption that money is wrong, that God does not love rich people, others actually strive to live in poverty because they think all rich people are going to hell, well this is very wrong. Money itself is not a bad thing and having it in abundance is not wrong either. It’s the love of money that then causes us to sway from the true purpose of our faith that God is against.

1 Timothy 6 verses 10

“For the love of money is the root of all kinds of evil. And some people craving money have wandered away from true faith and pierced themselves with many sorrows.”

In fact God himself agrees that wealth is necessary to have in abundance. It is almost impossible to carry out any ministry at world class level without money. We need to build churches, we need to pay for conferences. We need to fly around the world to feed people the world with the gospel. As Christians it is also mandatory to be involved in projects to reduce poverty and suffering in others, these too need money. So money is good and God wants you to have it.

Ecclesiastes 10 verse 19

“A feast is made for laughter, wine makes life merry and money is the answer for all things.”

Proverbs 21 verse 20

“Precious treasure and oil are in the wise man’s dwelling but a foolish man devours.”

Now that we have established that God wants us to be rich. The question is, how then do we do this with God’s assistance?

Follow us for the next few weeks as we breakdown wealth creation.
