LOCAL model and reigning Mr Fingers Shadel Noble has been invited to model at a fashion show in Dubai next year, following a stellar performance which he delivered this past weekend.
Noble set Limpopo Province in South Africa on fire at the 2016 Annual Royal Family fashion show, and attracted the interest of the organisers of the event.
“The organisers were so impressed that they are looking forward to working with me in the future. I have, as a result, been invited to a fashion show that will take place early next year in Dubai.
At this point, I cannot say much about the logistics but I am very excited about the show. It will be good for my career and I will get a chance to represent my city and above that, my country.
It is my chance to expand myself as a brand and I am grateful for that,” said the 23-year-old model.
Aside from the trip which Noble is counting down to, the show ran smoothly and he could not help but gush over the warm reception he received in Limpopo.
“The show went better than I expected. Limpopo really loved me. They only had positive things to say. They loved my stage presence; they loved my walk and my overall conduct,” he said.
Noble will be working closely with the Limpopo based designer Twy who also has clients in Harare and Mutare.
“That was the peak of the experience for me – when the organisers of the show approached me and said I was amazing.
They said they wanted to work with me as they have clients in Zimbabwe and it will be a mutually beneficial partnership” said a deeply humbled Noble.
In retrospect, Noble has had a fairly productive year. Having missed his shot at modeling in Hollywood, he managed to pick himself up, and got on to represent his country in South Africa and at the Sadc Summit in Swaziland.
He is set to be part of the Ibumba Festival’s iFashion Fest which takes place next Saturday.
