A family from Esigodini in Matabeleland South is appealing for assistance in taking care of their four-month-old triplets. The father, Mr Philip Mwinde who survives on casual jobs is overwhelmed by their needs such as milk.

Their mother, Ms Sibonginkosi Khumalo said she was struggling to feed and clothe the children as her husband is not gainfully employed.

“The triplets were born on 20 September last year at the United Bulawayo Hospitals (UBH). I now have six children and we are facing challenges of food and clothing especially for the triplets,” said Ms Khumalo.

“The major problem that I am facing is that I am using one breast as the other has stopped producing milk due to excessive sulking and when they start crying it becomes a problem and I am left with no option, but to just let them cry.” Ms Khumalo said they were also facing challenges of accommodation as they were now eight and living in one room.

“The other problem is accommodation because the house is now too small for us. We use room and we are now eight including my husband and our six children,” she said.

Those who are willing to assist can visit Number 20 Habane Township in Esigodini or contact the parents on 0773569997.
