UP and coming house artist Kevin Makhosi (22) featured one of the best artists in his new album.

He  said his latest project contains nine tracks and it is all Gqom with a bit of straight house, gospel house and a Maskandi feel.

“The new album is titled Nambini Volume 1. It has nine tracks. I can also say that it is all Gqom with a bit of straight house, gospel house and a little bit of Maskandi feel and my fans will be spoilt for choice,” he said.

In his latest album he said he worked with seven artists including four producers.

“I worked with seven artists in this album. I worked with X-mile, Gazalimnyam, Sis Noe, Brown, Ngu X  and it was produced by Msiz`kay, KOD, VOP, Shuza MB,” he said.

He added that it was a milestone to have worked with such big artists.

“I was humbled to have worked with these artists because of their talent, passion and commitment in their craft. In every song I knew the style it should bring and this is why I called these artists and I believe they were the best candidates,” said Kevin.

The Aka hit maker said he believes that this album will land him an award as he put in a lot of hard work.

He also said that Nambini Volume 1 will open new avenues in his music career.

“I believe that this project will open doors for me and I think this is a huge step that will make me one of the prominent artists,” he said.

He also shared with us his future plans.

“I am planning on doing local and international collaborations and I am planning to open a label that will play a major role in nurturing the talents of local musicians,” said Kevin.
