“My wife was employed as a campaign manager for MDC, despite my warnings as I felt that it would be rather not safe for her to participate in politics, she however turned down my advice and insisted that she wants to be part of the opposition.

“On 21 May when she did not return home for the party meeting, I tried to follow-up with her colleagues and even reported to the police at Ross Camp police station in Bulawayo, who reported that there had no one by my wife’s name they had arrested,” said Nkomo.

The distraught husband revealed that all he wanted was information that would help locate his wife considering that they were a young couple.

“We are a young couple and it is heartbreaking that I cannot locate my wife, I appeal to anyone who might know her whereabouts to please assist us,” he said.
