Trust Academy is a Cambridge Associate Centre of British Council. This means the school is an examination Centre and hence learners who want to write Cambridge examinations can come and register with us. Cambridge qualifications are globally recognised

Learners and parents you must know that Cambridge qualifications are globally recognised, accepted by universities and employers at home and around the world. Therefore, Cambridge qualification comes with an impressive reputation, and will retain its value for a lifetime of education and employment.

Over 1,400 universities worldwide recognise Cambridge qualifications. They are accepted by every UK University, by 600 universities in the US and in many other major student destinations, such as Canada, Australia, Singapore, South Africa, Germany, Zimbabwe, the Netherlands and many more.

Cambridge O level qualifications offered at Trust Academy

We offer has two different syllabi for O level that is, Cambridge IGCSE and The General Certificate of Education (GCE) Ordinary Level which are equivalent qualifications grade for grade. Learner can then choose syllabi that suit him or herself.

Cambridge IGCSE

The Cambridge IGCSE curriculum offers a variety of routes for learners with a wide range of abilities, including those whose first language is not English. IGCSE encourages student-centered and enquiry-based approaches to learning.

It also develops skills in creative thinking, enquiry and problem solving, giving students excellent preparation for higher-level courses such as Cambridge International AS and A Levels, the Cambridge Advanced International Certificate of Education. It is also flexible and stimulating curriculum

The General Certificate of Education (GCE) Ordinary Level

Cambridge O Level is an internationally recognised qualification equivalent to Cambridge IGCSE and UK GCSE.

Cambridge O Level provides learners with excellent preparation for academic progression to Cambridge Advanced as well as other progression route. It is sensitive to the needs of different countries and for learners whose first language may not be English.

The curriculum enables teaching to be placed in a localised context, making it relevant in any country. It develops learners’ skills in creative thinking, enquiry and problem solving and is structured so they build practical skills and theoretical knowledge.

Cambridge A level qualifications Offered by Trust Academy

The school offers Cambridge International AS and A Level which prepare for university and higher education. These help learners develop independent study skills which universities value highly.

Options available for learners

The leaner can choose to write Cambridge International AS Level only. This is done is in one year. The syllabus content is half a Cambridge International a Level. The other route will be to take the Cambridge International AS Level in one examination series and complete the final Cambridge International a Level at a subsequent series.

Lastly the learner can take all papers of the Cambridge International a Level course in the same examination session, usually at the end of the course, this is typically done after a 2-year course.

Science practicals optional in Cambridge examinations

Learners and parents, you must know that writing Science practical are optional in Cambridge final examinations.

Learners can choose either write a practical paper or an alternative to practical paper.
