BOLTGAS International opened a Bulawayo branch in March this year and has been warmly received by the market.

Boltgas is a supplier of premium brands and its product portfolio covers filtration solutions, hydraulic solutions and ground support solutions.

The company offers Donaldson filters, Gates hydraulics, Minova capsules, roof bolts and shepherd crooks to Southern region of the country which covers Hwange, Beitbridge, Gwanda, Chisumbanje and many other areas.

“The Donaldson filters cater for two types of filtration. It has engine filtration and industrial filtration”, said Mr Brighton Nyaguse Boltgas’ business development manager.

“Engine filtration caters for your mobile and stationary machines; so we have got filters for trucks, compressors, generators and drill rigs for mining. Then on industrial filtration, we specialise in dust extraction where we cater for industries that face dust generation as a challenge so we offer filter bags and complete units for such.”

Boltgas also offers crimping services for hydraulics and supply complete hydraulic hoses as per customer specification.

“For ground support, we have got the capsules (cement anchor grout) which are used to support the mine shafts underground and we have shepherd crooks (grout rods) and various bolts for underground support,” Mr Nyaguse explained.

Mr Nyaguse said Boltgas has five values and these include promise fulfilment and partnership.

“So you find out that when we offer our services we say that whether we are working with a customer or potential customer we have to put our heads together so we can come up with a mutually beneficial solution to their problems for both of us. In promise fulfilment, we do our best to provide the services and products that satisfy our customers’ expectations”, said Mr Nyaguse.

The company offers very competitive prices despite the foreign currency shortages and when compared with other players in the market they are cheaper, Boltgas said.

Boltgas always carries a two-month buffer stock to avoid stock outs when there is a tight forex crunch and as a result, is always stocked well, Mr Nyaguse revealed.

The company also does follow-ups on its products and services to check on customer satisfaction and performance of the supplied products
Mr Nyaguse said filters have been the leading product in terms of sales at their Bulawayo branch and hoped customers will continue coming through as they offer lower prices on all the product ranges available at their branch.

Boltgas’ business development manager said the company was satisfied with the reception in Bulawayo and the company is “here to stay”.
