IT had been a longtime since the good folks at One Touch Empire and Yamcoolar Entertainment released a new Donious J Bhebhe aka DJ Blackman video.

The hiatus has however, been broken with the release of his latest high quality video shot locally for his single (Bathie) released last year.

“The video was shot in Sizinda (Bulawayo) and it is an eye opener and actually interesting to note that people now want and appreciate home-grown videos showing places they appreciate and know, compared to videos showing foreign and almost alien settings,” the disc jockey-cum-live-stage performer said of his latest visual offering.

Killer T

The video is already attracting attention on YouTube and with potential to trend sooner than later. Born 33 years ago and the Zim Dancehall star, DJ Blackman, is no stranger to the music industry as he initially took the industry by surprise upon the release of his debut album Back from roots which got its fair share of airplay locally and regionally.

Seh Calaz

A popular act in various leisure centres in Bulawayo, Esigodini and South Africa, being MC in weddings and other social events, the Thandolwami hitmaker has also performed as an opening act for the motherland’s creme de le creme of Zim Dancehall including Seh Calaz, Freeman, Killer T and Soul Jah Love (…and, may his soul rest in melody)

“I have been approached and currently in negotiations with an international artiste. I am not at liberty to reveal yet, but once the deal is sealed, I will gladly lay bare the details”, said the entertainment all-rounder who is also working on a House album.
From a socio-cultural perspective, his latest offering is about Love and passion.

It addresses family bonds and the role played by the unit in influencing a member’s life choices, including through overprotectiveness. — @mlulekimoyo86
