DELTA maintained their unbeaten run in the Bulawayo Corporate Social Soccer League as they defeated ZB Bank 1-0 in a match played at Westgate yesterday.
The first half was deprived of action as both teams missed a number of chances with the teams going to the interval with a goalless score line. The game should have gone either way in the second half as both teams showed the potential of winning the contest. Both teams missed numerous chances until the 65th minute when Delta’s Ignitious Sibanda scored after a well taken free kick.
After the match, Delta coach Jongwe Mateko said he was not impressed with how his team played as he thought they should have had a better result.
