As each day passes The Bible

As each day passes, you get older, which means you have less and less time to do things because one of three things will happen.

The most likely is that you will either die and you make your way to either Heaven or hell. The second possibility it that Jesus comes and you will be ruptured.

The third and rather unpleasant thing that could happen is that Jesus comes and you stay behind while others are raptured. If you ask me, I say you better make sure you are raptured because if you are not, the world will so change and most plans you had will become obsolete. Each day is a step closer to one of these life altering events happening. Everyone on earth will be subject to them regardless of social standing. So each day we are alive will determine which path we take when any of those happen.

Matthew 24:36-37

“No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in Heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man”. The point of all this is to stress that time wait for no man. But let’s imagine you die today, have you exhausted what God has placed in you for this earth?

How much of what you are called to be have you done? We must understand that being born again is just the beginning of what Christ has intended for you. The moment you receive Christ, you become part of his eternal plans. He has a very important task for you to accomplish before you exit this earth. This Sunday marks nine days before the end of 2019. There are things God expected you to do this year. How many have you done?

The fact that you are sitting on your tasks and your job does not mean the whole world is also sitting on their laurels. Past glories are exactly that, past. You have to continue to pressure future accomplishments. The world does not revolve around your home, your town, or even Zimbabwe.

There is a lot more to life than whatever issues you may have. The first of January 2020 is not just a new year, it marks an entirely new decade. While you wasted countless hours watching television and pointless worrying in this decade the first iPad came out, women’s abuse went on an all-time high, millions attained better education, South Sudan became an independent nation, global population reached seven billion, London hosted Olympic games, China began world dominance and most notably for us Zimbabweans, President Robert Mugabe resigned and subsequently died in hospital  later. This is just to show you that the world is very busy and will continue to be busy with or without you.

God accepts no excuses. It’s time for you to get up. Stop nursing old wounds, stop the self-pity mission. Everyone has a sad story, there is nothing special or unique about yours. When you get to Heaven and God wants you to account, it will not be enough to say I was hurt that is why I did not do the work. God will want results.

Start today, pray more, love more, work harder, be a better spouse, be a better child to your parents, save your money, invest in something.

You are running out of time. Redeem lost time by working twice as hard. It’s important that you do so. A lot depends on you. It does not matter where you are now, a lot depends on you deciding to begin to move forward. Moving forward is easy if you follow the simple rules of progressive people.

The first is, have a plan. A plan will accelerate you. The second is, follow the plan to the letter. The third and most important is, cultivate a relationship with God and he will see you through. Always remember that God loves you and you are a very important part of His plan for this world.

Jeremiah 29:11-14

1 “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. I will be found by you,” declares the Lord, “and I will bring you back from captivity. I will gather you from all the nations and places where I have banished you,” declares the Lord, “and will bring you back to the place from which I carried you into exile.”
