Hwange held by Ratanang, Arenel close gap

ZIFA Southern Region Division One log leaders, Hwange dropped points when they were held to a goalless draw by Ratanang at Luveve Stadium’s B-arena yesterday, which allowed second placed Arenel to close the gap.

Hwange are still on top with 21 points while Arenel, who hammered ZPC Hwange 3-1 moved to 19 points.

Casymn were 3-0 victorious over Quality Foods, Mosi Rovers saw off Makhandeni Pirates 3-2, Talen Vision finally remembered how to win with a 2-0 triumph over CIWU while Indlovu Iyanyathela saw off Mainline 3-2 in Plumtree.

Two matches are lined up this afternoon, both at Luveve Stadium’s B-arena. First up, Zimbabwe Saints clash with Ajax Hotspurs before Mountain Climbers meet Binga Pirates.
