HIGHLANDERS have finally received the 2018 kit.

Chief executive officer, Nhlanhla Dube unveiled the NetOne-branded jersey that will be used by the team this season although he indicated there could be changes that would be made later in the year. He said replicas are not available yet but are likely to be available in the next coming weeks.

“We have finally received our kit for the 2018 season as you remember we had indicated that there had been delays in the delivery of the kit hence we started the season using a compromise, which is our training kit.  I know there had been concerns about the kit but we are back to our traditional black and white stripe, which Highlanders is well known for,” said Dube, during the club’s weekly press conferences.

He indicated they received two home kits, a stripped black and white jersey with a black short and one away kit, an all-white strip.

Concern had been raised by fans over the kit the club has been wearing since the start of the season, the jersey is white with black dots and strips and grey zigzag lines at the front. With fans having grown used to the black and white stripe they felt the kit was not fit for Bosso.

Fans are also eagerly awaiting the replicas which they hope will be affordable this time around unlike the previous jersey which sold for $50, an amount that is out of reach for many Bosso fans and many turned to imitations that do not benefit the club financially.
