THE Zimbabwe National Chamber of Commerce (ZNCC) has honoured Highlanders Football Club with a lifetime achievement award, recognising the club’s contribution, achievement, and character of footballing.
On Friday at the ZNCC Matabeleland Region Business Awards and Dinner Ceremony in Bulawayo, Highlanders was awarded with Bulawayo businessmen, Mohamed Hassen Esat and Jim Ross Goddard.
Esat is a former Bulawayo councillor.
The lifetime achievement award represents achievement and longevity, with at least 10 years of documented accomplishments in the different fields the nominees are in and who have had a significant impact on a large number of individuals and organisations.
ZNCC Matabeleland Chapter chairman Mackenzie Dongo said the awards celebrated the achievements of organisations in both the private and public sectors which have attained exceptional levels of business excellence during these challenging times with the Covid-19 pandemic and global economic uncertainty.
