SOUTH Africa-based Zimbabwean producer Thulani Nyathi last week released a comedy movie that will keep people on the edges of their seats this December titled Mahlasela wants his faeces back.
Sunday Life managed to talk to Mthulisi Moyo who is the main character, who narrated what this rib cracking comedy movie is about.
“Basically this comedy movie is about two men Mahlasela and Zicathulo who were friends had a misunderstanding and one of them spills someone’s beer and all hell broke loose as Zicathulo followed Mahlasela when he was relieving himself and picked up his faeces so that he can bewitch him however, he is caught before doing that,” he said.
The film is meant to expose fake spiritual healers who always want to score on people who will be desperate and fearing for their lives thus making them vulnerable. The cast is only made up of Zimbabweans and also members of Omkhula.
“All our cast members are from Zimbabwe, we have people like Jenifer Peter, Sakhile Dube, Vela Ncube, Phikisani Ndlovu, Mayibongwe Moyo and Omkhula Arts.
It was done under Diamond Studio Company based in Zimbabwe,” said Moyo.
He has done some films like Mahlalela 1 and 2, Mahlaleli narithi and Promises which will be screened soon on ZTV.
