PRINCE Dube has bid farewell to the Highlanders family with a thank you message to the fans for backing him during his time at the club.
Dube officially joined Tanzanian free spenders Azam on a three year contract on Monday after passing his medical examination.
“Bosso family I can’t thank you enough for everything you have done for me in all these past years. Thank you for everything, the love, support, appreciation, everything you did for me,’’ posted Dube on Twitter.
He went on to say “You are such an amazing club and you will always be my home. Thank you for your love, support through the good and bad times. Words alone can’t express my appreciation for the fans.”
Mgadafi, as the Warriors striker is known broke into the Highlanders first team in 2016 after top scoring for Highlanders Academy (now Bosso90) the previous year. After winning the Cosafa Cup with the 2017 in South Africa, Dube moved to Absa Premiership side SuperSport. He however failed to break into the Matsatsantsa first team and eventually returned to Bosso at the end of 2018.
The Warriors striker has a fruitful 2019 season with Highlanders. He made a slow start but went on to find his form in the second half of the season. Dube’s goals were the driving force for Highlanders as they finished sixth on the log and won the Chibuku Super Cup.
