SEXUAL exploitation or just sex scandal may be the preferred phrases that are apt in describing the events that are sucking in the director of a local modelling agency who has been accused of soliciting for sex from models.
Method Nsingo, who owns Elegant Steps Modelling Agency, stands accused of soliciting for sex from 13 girls, who make up the number at the agency, while a lady, who claims he slept with her when she was 13 years old and dumped her, has come out guns blazing in a revenge mission that is set to leave him grounded.
Three of the girls he is said to have solicited for sex from confirmed in separate interviews with the Sunday Leisure that they have slept with him after he promised he would get them to participate in the Miss Zimbabwe pageant.
One of the models, who preferred anonymity, said Nsingo was in the habit of enrolling models on the pretext that he would groom them into top-class models but later have sex with them.
“He (Nsingo) has a tendency of enrolling girls into his agency and then asks one girl at a time out in exchange for sex,” said the model.
However, Nsingo denied the allegations stating that he hardly spoke to the girls enrolled at the agency.
“This is the first time I am hearing this. I have never dated or slept with any girl in that agency. Actually, I do not speak to most of the girls in that agency though I am the owner. I am planning to drop those girls and start something new with professional models,” said Nsingo.
As if that is not enough for Nsingo, his past love life is haunting him, a girl who claims she slept with him when she was just 13, is out to destroy the little vestiges of his career in modelling as well as his dignity.
It is said that sometime last week a woman by the name Lindahrosa Siddibe approached the models through a WhatsApp group, claiming to be from the Miss World Zimbabwe Trust.
According to most of the models and the owner of the agency, Siddibe first called Nsingo and offered to help them financially. She also pledged to assist the girls to the next level with their modelling career since she claimed to be financially stable.
Nsingo, who is also the group admin on WhatsApp, added Siddibe to the group. Siddibe is said to have introduced herself and then later asked the models to send her their pictures, which the girls did but to their surprise what they sent was not what she wanted.
“You girls are sending me useless pictures I need sexy pictures, naked pictures. Sorry girls I need them”, said Siddibe on her WhatsApp message.
According to the other models that preferred anonymity, Siddibe continued asking for the nude pictures from the models. Most of them complained and refused, while others are believed to have sent.
Siddibe is said to have sent a few of her nude pictures to the models as a way of convincing them not be shy to give her their naked pictures too.
“Siddibe asked for our naked pictures and some of us complained but I believe some girls sent her their nude pictures. When some of us failed to meet her demands she sent messages on WhatsApp threatening those who did not send to do so or she was going to sell the naked pictures she had to B-Metro for $50 so that they are published,” she said.
However, after exchanging harsh words on WhatsApp Siddibe was then blocked and deleted by some models save for one only identified as Nonhle.
“Before I blocked Siddibe, she sent me messages apologising for the things she said. She said what she was doing was a form of revenge for what Nsingo did to her. She claimed that she slept with Nsingo then he dropped her like a bomb leaving her to pick up her broken self. She sounded bitter and wanted some sweet revenge,” said Nonhle.
Contacted for comment Siddibe confirmed receiving nude pictures of all the girls, adding that she did not work for Miss World Zimbabwe but was out to fix Nsingo for dumping her after sleeping with her.
“All the models sent me their nude pictures and I consider them cheap and foolish. I bet it is true that they slept with Nsingo to get where they want to be. Sending them my pictures was a way of making them send theirs,” said Siddibe.
Siddibe added that it is true that she slept with Nsingo and what she did to the modelling agency was a way of making him pay back what he did to her when they were still in love.
“I slept with Nsingo at the age of 13, he destroyed me and I vowed I was going to make him pay and I have, though I plan to keep using those naked pictures for my own gain,” said Siddibe.
Nsingo, however, denied knowing Siddibe.
“This lady only wants to destroy me, I do not know her. She only called saying she was from the Miss World Zimbabwe Trust and wanted to help the models financially since she was loaded with money and my sin is that I believed her,” said Nsingo.
