In Pool A, the fight for the second spot in the league is still ongoing after the two teams vying for that slot, Man U as well as Mthala emerged victorious in their respective assignments. From the two the big winners were the Douglas “British” Mloyi-led Mthala who clobbered Santos 8-2 while Man U edged Tigers 4-2.

Finance was the only team from Cowdray Park to collect a full set of points after winning 5-1 against Wembley while the Mariet Chironga-sponsored 94 Strivers survived a second half assault from Vule Vale who rose from 2-0 down to draw 2-2.
