AS Bulawayo waits with bated breath for spiritual healing and deliverance through “Spiritual Spectacles” by Harare-based Prophet and founder of Goodness and Mercy Ministries Tapiwa Freddy during his maiden crusade in the city early next month, the clergyman has challenged his critics to attend to bear testimony that his miracles have nothing to do with “magic.”

The charismatic preacher popularly known as the “Spiritual Spectacles Specialist” and commands a huge following throughout the country, especially in Harare has promised to silence the doubting Thomases with his breathtaking miracles during his upcoming crusade to be held on 2 June at the White City Stadium’s B Arena.

Prophet Freddy who is reportedly endowed with a very special gift, which enables believers to literally prophesy their own lives through seeing visions, dared his critics to attend the crusade saying they do not understand that God operates in unlimited ways.

The clergyman sparked debate among some sections of the Christianity community after he promised to produce plenty of breathtaking miracles during the upcoming crusade dubbed “Spiritual Spectacles Night Bulawayo Edition” aimed at transforming many lives through “Spiritual Spectacles” anointing.

“The church has been attacked from all angles by people who do not understand things of God but I will not succumb to their evil machinations as they are bent on tarnishing my image and that of the church. We are ready to serve God, and I will do everything that God wants me to do for Him. What I am doing is God’s work and I was sent to do this.”

He added: “This is a gift I was given by God and we can refer to the Holy Bible, I can refer to 2 Kings 6 verse 17. The passage says Elisha prayed, ‘Open his eyes, Lord, so that he may see. Then the Lord opened the servant’s eyes, and he looked and saw the hills full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.’

“Spiritual spectacle is an anointing within me that enables me to pray for individuals and immediately an individual will be able to see in the spiritual realm and will be able to see visions of their life or prophesy themselves in the same manner that Prophet Elisha did”.

He said God can use the ordinary man to do the extraordinary work giving an example of Moses who led the children of Israel out of Egypt but he was a shepherd.

“We have two worlds, the one we are seeing with our eyes (of flesh) and the other one people see when I order the spiritual spectacles to work for them. Now, someone is saying ‘how did this happen?’ No. this is not magic. People should understand that God operates in unlimited ways.

“The problem with most Christians of this age is that they talk about the Bible yet don’t even read it. Why does someone want to limit God by doubting miracles which He is manifesting through His servants? When you are a prophet it’s either you see visions or you hear a voice.

“When you see visions it may be difficult to understand and interpret them correctly them because of the nature of their occurrence. It happens so fast. But when one hears the voice of God it is quite clear and I am able to prophesy with such striking accuracy because I hear God’s voice and see the visions at the same time,” explained Prophet Freddy.

The prophet appealed to Bulawayo residents to turn up in large numbers so that they can receive their blessings in abundance adding that the one-day crusade was basically to transform people’s lives.

“It is my first crusade in Bulawayo and this was after I had realised that there were a lot of people coming to Harare from Matabeleland region for one-on-one sessions. We are expecting a huge crowd as we are coming by public demand. The conference will start at 8pm and end the following morning at the White City Stadium B Arena 2 where people will experience the supernatural power of God,” he said.

During some of his conference services, dubbed “Know It Before It Happens Prophetic Conference” the charismatic prophet even unleashes what he calls “Double Spiritual Spectacles” which can make couples or the entire family to see the same things.

Many people also reportedly recovered their stolen properties after being given the so-called “Spiritual Spectacles” by the man of God.

Prophet Freddy, who was born 34 years ago at Harare Central Hospital and grew up in Musana communal area in Bindura District, reportedly received his prophetic calling in 1993 at a tender age of 10 when he was in Grade Four.

Since then, he has continued to guide believers in Christ, performing miracles and wonders. Prophet Freddy is a man of many talents. He is also a gifted musician, philanthropist and accomplished writer.

Some of his written articles dwell on vision, praise and worship, sowing and reaping, Christian believers’ authority, Old Testament laws and the person of the Holy Spirit.

He uses music to propagate Christian teachings and promote family values and has three albums under his belt namely Mesiya (2003), Serevende (2006) and 100% Prophetic (2016).

The prophet and his wife run a charity arm called Goodness and Mercy Ministries Hand of Care that helps underprivileged children and vulnerable members of the society, especially the elderly and the physically handicapped.

Award-winning gospel musician, Mathias Mhere who is currently riding high with his latest album, Old Testament, has also promised Bulawayo fans an explosive night of praise and worship during the crusade.

Mhere who would be supported by another local gospel artiste Caleb Msipa Caleb Msipa also said he was ready to give fans the very best at the show.
