Greetings beloved nation in the name of Jesus Christ. Last week we said that the year has a gate or doors and that the year is seized in the spirit and not in the physical. I pray that we may be in sync with what God is doing in this season of 2021. Today we want to unveil certain keys of unlocking the year for individuals or corporates as we enter this new year.
Jesus said in Mathew 16 vs 19, ” And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.”
We see that the Kingdom of God has got keys. So keys are used to lock and unlock doors or gates. In life we are surrounded by doors and gates, so it is very important that we have keys. That’s why Jesus spoke of keys not a key, meaning that there are many doors. Some are locked and some are open. As we can see, the year can be locked for you and there is danger when the year is locked against you meaning you won’t partake of the blessing of the year.
So we need to know how to use these spiritual keys to activate our promotion for the year. It may be a job, ministerial promotion or marital breakthrough.
So if you don’t know how to activate the keys to begin a new year, your year will be miserable. I want to encourage you that the year 2021, despite what the enemy is planning against God’s people, it is a year crowned with goodness according to Psalms 65:11. In order for the year 2021 to cooperate with you, you should understand and know how to use the keys.
Key Number 1
Forget about the past. It is very important that when you enter into a new season choose to forget about the past. Many people will enter into a new season still carrying the burdens or celebrations of the past.
The past has a way of distracting the goodness of the present or the future. So purpose in your heart to forget what happened in the past. Don’t enter the year with your slave or pain mentality. Some have been abused mentally, emotionally or have suffered loss in 2020. But I have good news for you that 2021 is carrying a different experience that will catapult you into a better future. It is loaded with Godly benefits. Those who experienced the gloriously of 2020 wait until you see what God wants to do for you in 2021.
In Isaiah 43:18-19 it says, “Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it?” So there is a new thing that God is doing in 2021. Paul says one thing that I do is to forget that which is behind.
Remember that Saul before he became Paul was a murderer and now we see when he was convicted he had a choice to forget what he did before he met Jesus Christ. For the new things to spring up you have to forget the past, if you don’t deal with the past it will choke up the new things that are springing up for the new season. So choose not to camp around your past. Pray that Jesus will disconnect you from any chain of the past. Pray that God may give you a purpose for 2021.
Key Number 2
Seize the year in the spirit. We said the year is entered in the spirit, so learn to programme and deprogramme your year in the realm of the spirit. Don’t just enter in the physical you enter in the spirit because life has got two foundations. (i) the foundation of the spirit (ii) the physical foundation.
The physical foundation is given birth by the spiritual foundation. Who so ever knows how to programme and deprogramme in the spiritual shall enjoy the benefits of 2021 miraculously. Meaning this year pray, fast and read the word of God more because the enemy can cause the year to fight you. There are demons that enjoy to see the destiny of men being destroyed. There are demonic entities that are daily being released to bring calamities in the destinies of God’s people.
So I encourage you speak to the year, command the year to favour you in the name of Jesus. These demonic entities have the ability to hear the name of Jesus and the blood of the lamb. For some as you were busy celebrating 2021 the devil and his agents were busy impregnating the atmosphere so that it may give birth to calamities.
So I challenge you to rise up early in the morning, seize the day of your year. And speak what God says you are. The Lord is coming for you like the children of Israel.
He had to judge their enemies as a sign of a new dawn. In the new season of the year they experienced walking through the Red Sea. The atmosphere in 2021 is conducive, open for those who will begin to programme and deprogramme the atmosphere. It is clean because there is a new beginning.
Pray that you enter 2021 in the spirit so that you may be successful and take back your year in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Begin to say; 2021, I take you back from the hands of the enemy, it shall not be manipulated. I speak the blessing of 2021 to be released over me and my family.
How to seize your year. It is by doing two things. (i) By programming, (ii) by de programming the heavens. There is a book that God has written concerning your life. Everything about your life is mapped in the book of God. It contains the calendar of your life according to Psalms 40:7.
So we see that there is a book written concerning your life by God. And the devil also has a book. So these two books want to find expression in your life. As you pray cancel the demonic book using the blood of Jesus and activate the book of God so that it finds expression over your life.
We see in the book of Job 31:35 Job saying “my adversary has written a book”. I want you to begin to deprogramme and cancel that book and say; any book that the enemy has written concerning me, my destiny, my family, I cancel by the blood of Jesus. I begin to activate the book that has been written by God concerning my life.
I declare that let the purpose and plans of God concerning the book that God has written for you, let it be fulfilled in your life and in your destiny in 2021.
